THIS is WHY photography is so powerful and very important to me! It allows us to remember history. To make history. To tell history. Without it, we’ll always be wondering.

Talofa lava and warm pacific greetings,

I am Georgina (Gina) Samiula Ofisa-Futialo. I’m a freelance photographer born and raised in Auckland New Zealand, now residing in FNQ Townsville Australia. I am of Samoan descent and attached is a photograph of my handsome husband and I on our wedding day.

Photography has always played a big part in my life — every photo tells a story; every picture immerses us in another world. But through photography, its emotions that resonate deeply, encourages us to stay in the present moment, reminds us that life is too short, and time does not slow down for anyone. Photography is more than just a creative outlet; it’s a source of inspiration and a means to connect with the world around me.
